I bought this new underscarf for my niece. She has never worn this style underscarf before, she hand makes her own. I am so excited for her to try this underscarf!!!
Best Material!!!
I bought this for my niece as a gift. She LOVES the Jersey Style Hijab. Thank you!
Okay
It is breathable, however it kept slipping on my head, so I had to rearrange my hijab many times while wearing it.

Thanks for taking the time to write your feedback, Sarah. We're sorry the Barely There Underscarf didn't work for you. I recommend tying it just so it's snug but not too tightly as that will have the opposite effect and the tension will cause it to slip back throughout the day. It should be secure throughout the day with just a snug fit and please be sure to wear it right at your hairline where your hairline meets your forehead and not further back than that. If you have any other questions or if you need assistance, don't hesitate to reach out to us at hello@hautehijab.com. We're always happy to help! Love, The HH Team
Didn't work out
Purchased this because of the description; being light weight and barely there. Unfortunately this absolutely would not stay on my head. I tried tying it super tight, pre-tying it, even making it loose and not tying it at all. I really tried it all. I also tried to slip it back on my hair to see if it would grip and even putting down across my brown bone, but no luck. The area at the nape of the neck would not stay put & neither would the front. I thought it was my head shape but I had 3 other people try it and also no luck. I have medium length 3B hair and the bun area isn't large enough to hold that either. & doesn't go over the ears. I will have to play around and DIY some gripping aspect on to it to make it functional . It may work if you have very short hair perhaps. and accurately it is breathable but not at all functional. Every few weeks I pull it out hoping maybe I'll have luck this time around; maybe there's something I haven't tried but still a bust. I hope future ones will have more traction feature on them or even a thicker front seam.

Thanks for taking the time to write your feedback, Fatma. We're sorry the Barely There Underscarf you ordered seems like not working for you. For some, no matter what they do, they just can't seem to keep it in place while for others, tying the scarf correctly has worked wonders, and some don't even need to tie it and find that it stays in place all day without issue! That said, the Barely There should stay over your ears and I actually think that's a more secure way to wear it. It feels light as air and holds in your hair beautifully while also creating some lovely volume in the back. Also, I recommend not tieing it too tightly in the back. Many people tighten it thinking that will help keep it on, but the opposite is true. Our underscarves are designed to be snug, but not overly tight to the head. Although many of us are used to extremely tight underscarves, wearing them often is not good for our hair and scalp over the long term and can cause a lot of discomfort while wearing them. If you have any other questions or if you need assistance, don't hesitate to reach out to us at hello@hautehijab.com. We're always happy to help. :) Love, The HH Team
Okay
Okay overall, does the job but nothing more
Underscarf
The quality is amazing, but it kept slipping off my thin hair. I need to watch some tutorials to see if this is an actual issue with this material on fine, thin hair or am I doing something wrong? I did love the color though.
No headaches!
Loving how it’s breathable
Great!
I live in very high humid city and you barely feel this under scarf. When you wear it under a very thin scarf, it doesn’t even show your hair. Overall, I liked it a lot.
Disappointed
It’s slips and doesn’t fit the head right.

Thanks for taking the time to write your feedback. We're sorry the Barely There Underscarf didn't work for you. To reduce slippage, we recommend not tieing it too tightly in the back. Many people tighten it thinking that will help keep it on, but the opposite is true. Our underscarves are designed to be snug, but not overly tight to the head. Although many of us are used to extremely tight underscarves, wearing them often is not good for our hair and scalp over the long term and can cause a lot of discomfort while wearing. The closed, ruched back on our underscarves helps to evenly distribute the weight of your hair so as to put less pressure on your forehead and ears. That way, you don't need to tie it as tight, but it will still remain secure. Love, Team HH
